High Heels For Men in True Mens Sizes!

January 09, 2009 :: Posted by - admin :: Category - High Heel Fashion, How To Walk In Heels, Men Wearing High Heels
During the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, high heels were an indicator of wealth and status for both men and women. This held true until the Revolution where men and women stopped wearing them to try and hide their noble stature. Since that time high heels for men were no longer mainstream. In the nineteenth century high heels were introduced here in the USA, but since it came after the Revolution they were only seen worn by women. High heels for men tried to make a come back during the 70′s disco era and have been seen off and on being worn by a few performers on stage.
Over the last 3-4 years I have seen a growing increase of men wearing high heels. Now these men are not only cross dressers and transsexuals, but straight men as well who just desire ‘fashion freedom’ or men
who just love the look and feel that only this type of shoe can give. Seeing this demand I started talking to many manufacturers here in the USA and in China trying to get them to manufacture high heel shoes
for men in men’s sizes, on a men’s last, but I was never able to get this done. Although I was not able to accomplish the task of having high heels for men made, another gentleman named Bernie J. Fatla has been able to. Bernie has been able to do what I was not, and that is to have high heel shoes made on a mens last in true men’s sizes! I have talked to Bernie and we are proud to announce that we are now carrying his full line of high heel shoes and boots designed for men. Unlike other sites that offer women’s shoes in larger sizes and converting them to men’s sizes and claiming that they are high heels for men, this new line of shoes is different. They are truly made on a men’s last and are in men’s sizes…they are men’s shoes. You may have noticed that I am trying to stress the point that this new line of shoes are truly high heels made for men and that these are not women’s shoes. I am doing this because this is truly a big deal. Men’s fashion freedom has become more pronounced in the recent years and I have had customers asking me where can they get product that actually fits. I have talked to numerous manufacturers, but none of them heard my calls. I am very happy that someone finally did. Bernie is the only person in the country that has these shoes, but I am sure that he will not be the only one for long. Will this result in a true fashion revolution here in the states? I saw the demand for this product, Bernie saw the demand for this product and is working very diligently to fill the void and answer the calls of many men. Is this the beginning of a new trend? It is almost commonplace in the UK to see a male walking down the street in some sort of heel. Has the call for men’s fashion freedom been answered?

it has been said that the secret to great business is thinking of something which others haven’t thought of:) this is definitely a new idea, I would be really interested to see the response of men to this product line. I will check with some friends how they think of this and drop you some line:)

  3. admin Says:

To some this may seem crazy, but to many men who just enjoy wearing them it is more of an obsession.

Thank you for your feedback. So far the response has been totally positive. We have had customers over the past couple of years asking, almost begging, us for information on any supplier that carries this line of product. We were shocked to find that many, if not most, of the men asking are straight everyday men, in all professions, but this product line is also sought after by crossdressers and TV’s. I look forward to any feedback or leads you are able to provide.

Thank you for your comment! There are many guys out there that feel the same way as you. We are happy that Bernie was able to get these manufactured and that we can offer them.

  7. David Says:

High heels should be considered a unisex footwear. But of course depends on the style of high heels. For guys, I think wearing strappy heels is too gayish but a simple pumps or high heel boots are ok for as long as he wears his usual dress pants.

The time has come for men’s fashion freedom!

  10. Manfred Says:

I wear high heels all the time,up to 4 inch stilettos, usually with low rise boot cut jeans.

  11. mikey Says:

I love my pumps slingbacks and even flats I think women just have sexy hot looking shoes. I just don’t care what people say

  12. Elvira Says:

I love to wear boots whit hi-heels and block heels aswell. Love to see men in them to. Straight as well as crossdressers. Is absolutly NO gay thing. I’m straight miself and have light red over knee boots, black boots whit hi-heel just under the knee and over knee black boots whit an block heel. Love to wear them all. Its not easy to wear the hi-heels but if you practis you can. Women can’t walk in them at once. They have to practis also. But they have the advantage that they can learn from when they are yong girls. But men can’t jet. Isn’t done. But ho knows what the future brings

  13. Greg Says:

I’m a straight men and I love to wear high heels shoes. Happily I have rather small foot (as for men) so I can buy normal women shoes.

  14. skinny tie Says:

Great blog. Thanks for the interesting article. Will send others your way.

  15. David Says:

I’ve been fortunate to have what some refer to as small feet,I wear a mans size 8 to 8 1/2,wich allows me to wear a womans 9 1/2 to 10,and I have never had a problem wearing heels in those sizes.
Most of the time I buy heels through Amazon, works for me,I may not be able to try them on to see how the fit is,but I don’t have to put up with peoples snickering, and rude snide remarks.
Your blog is nice to have,to be able to go to and see what progress is being made so men can find high heels and other styles of womens shoes to wear,my favorite brands are Nine West,Bandolino,Joan and David, the high end designer brands are way out of my budget.

  16. Rain Says:

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!FINALLY!!!!!Ohhh, I have waited this for soooo long, too long. And now it’s here, for real. This is absolutely awesome. Thanks! Btw, I’m straight too. :)

  17. cute boy Says:

The feeling of wearing a sexy pair of 5 inch strappy heels is amazing. i am straight and get so turned on by wearing them. I am lucky that being a size 10 womens shoe, i can buy really sexy heels that are available in ladies shoe shops.

  18. kk sweden Says:

I’m a fan of high heel shoes, in Sweden girls shoes are flat and so UNSEXY that i once got pissed off and walked across the city in high heels just to make a point. If girls in Sweden keep looking so unsexy i don’t know what to do, I’m as straight as it gets but girls in flats dressed like men just turn me off!

  19. Minde Says:

I like it! I wear high heels, another women shoes in public and no one tell me any words about it, no one point at me with finger!
P.S. I’m straight married man with children. I’m just happy that men can get a little bit more!
    Men’s Fashion Freedom!

  20. Talyn Says:

I prefer to wear high heels and flats,my wife doesn’t object, she believes if someone has a problem with freedom of choice, they need to take a real deep look within themselves before judging someone else who may have different choices.

  21. Brian Says:

An example of a platform sandal that I would like made for men is the 656 CANDY by Pleaser; I have not have had the opportunity of wearing the 656 CANDY by Pleaser, but I am not a stranger to wearing high heels.

  22. admin Says:

The 656 Candy is actually made by Ellie not Pleaser’s. To be honest I would recommend the 557 Lea also by Ellie. The difference is the 656 Candy has a 6 1/2″ platform heel where as the 557 Lea has an 5″ platform. The 656 Candy is also only available up to size 14 where as the 557 Lea is available up to size 16. Although the 557 Lea is not classified as a wide width it does tend to fit like one and is a big seller among men. Since it is a “woman’s” shoe you do have to order two sizes larger then you would normally wear.
