The 656 Candy is actually made by Ellie not Pleaser's. To be honest I would recommend the 557 Lea also by Ellie. The difference is the 656 Candy has a 6 1/2" platform heel where as the 557 Lea has an 5" platform. The 656 Candy is also only available up to size 14 where as the 557 Lea is available up to size 16. Although the 557 Lea is not classified as a wide width it does tend to fit like one and is a big seller among men. Since it is a "woman's" shoe you do have to order two sizes larger then you would normally wear.

An example of a platform sandal that I would like made for men is the 656 CANDY by Pleaser; I have not have had the opportunity of wearing the 656 CANDY by Pleaser, but I am not a stranger to wearing high heels.

I prefer to wear high heels and flats,my wife doesn’t object,she believes if someone has a problem with freedom of choice,they need to take a real deep look within themselves before judging someone else who may have different choices.

I like it! I wear high heels, another women shoes in public and no one tell me any words about it, no one point at me with finger!

I’m a fan of high heel shoes, in Sweden girls shoes are flat and so UNSEXY that i once got pissed off and walked across the city in high heels just to make a point. If girls in Sweden keep looking so unsexy i don’t know what to do, I’m as straight as it gets but girls in flats dressed like men just turn me off!

The feeling of wearing a sexy pair of 5 inch strappy heels is amazing. i am straight and get so turned on by wearing them. I am lucky that being a size 10 womens shoe, i can buy really sexy heels that are available in ladies shoe shops.

I’ve been fortunate to have what some refer to as small feet,I wear a mans size 8 to 8 1/2,wich allows me to wear a womans 9 1/2 to 10,and I have never had a problem wearing heels in those sizes.
Most of the time I buy heels through Amazon,works for me,I may not be able to try them on to see how the fit is,but I don’t have to put up with peoples snickering,and rude snide remarks.
Your blog is nice to have,to be able to go to and see what progress is being made so men can find high heels and other styles of womens shoes to wear,my favorite brands are Nine West,Bandolino,Joan and David,the high end designer brands are way out of my budget.

I’m a straight men and I love to wear high heels shoes. Happily I have rather small foot (as for men) so I can buy normal women shoes.
